Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Café Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience for every visitor. Your day may include:
Delivering warm, welcoming, and attentive service
Maintaining a clean and inviting café environment
Supporting opening and closing procedures as directed
Preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of food items
Ensuring food displays are presented to a high standard
Operating the POS system and handling cash confidently
Following safe food handling and hygiene practices

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking team members who bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine commitment to great customer service. To succeed in this role, you will have:
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Strong customer service experience in a similar environment which is busy and fast-paced
A people-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Required Qualifications
Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
Current HLTAID009 CPR certification
Food Handling Level 1 (desirable)
