Job Description

Peninsula Leisure has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our management team.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity responsible for the provision of Food and Beverage at Peninsula Leisure’s café and kiosk outlets across multiple sport and leisure facilities, including the PARC Café, PINES Kiosk, the Shack at Frankston Skate Park and any future outlets that come under Peninsula Leisure Management.


Reporting to our General Manager - Operations, the ideal candidate for this role will have experience leading a diverse team within the hospitality industry, in busy fast-paced environments, with strong leadership skills and a customer centric attitude.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Oversee the efficient daily operation of food and beverage outlets, ensuring prompt, hygienic, and exceptional customer service
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and guests.
  • Recruit, train, roster, and supervise café staff to maintain high performance and morale, facilitating their understanding of Peninsula Leisure policies, procedures, manuals and tasks lists and that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Manage inventory, supplier contracts & relationships, and ordering processes.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Café’s health, hygiene, quality and safety standards.
  • Provide catering to support events, programs, and community initiatives.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience leading a diverse team within the hospitality industry.
  • Customer Service experience in a busy fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of large leisure centres (preferred)
  • Current CPR
  • Current Police Records Check
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
  • Food Safety Supervisor qualification
